Flashback Friday

Today we are going to flashback to a year ago when we took our trip to San Diego.  We had such a fun time.  We ordered these go san diego cards that got you into tons of museums, sea world, lego land, knots berry farm, the san diego zoo, and a whole bunch of little boardwalk amusement parks.  We drove down with my parents and stayed for a week.  It was so much fun!

We left super early in the morning and this little guy stayed awake until we got to Barstow, then mom stayed in the car with him while the others got out to stretch their legs. 

The first day we visited a ton of museums.  We went to a children's museum, a space museum, a car museum, and a sports museum.  They were all in Balboa park so they were all within walking distance of each other.

Then we went to the San Diego zoo.

We also went to sea world.

Next we went to Legoland.  This was one of my favorite places we went.  It is amazing the things that they have built out of legos.  Everywhere you look there is something made out of legos.  Pigeons on top of the buildings, squirrels in the trees.  They had famous cities such as Las Vegas, Seattle, New Orleans all built out of legos.  P loved the star wars section!

While we were there, we took a harbor tour.  The boys loved riding the boat and seeing the animals in the harbor.

We also toured the Navy ship, the midway.  It was huge and very confusing to get around in.

The last day we played on the beach and went to Belmont amusement park.  P loved collecting shells, D didn't like the waves chasing him.
