My sister's family welcomed a new little girl to their family on Thursday, September 18th at 11:10 a.m. She was 7lbs 2oz and 19in long. She has been in the special care unit and just made it home today. Everyone is so excited to have her join our family! She is our 11th niece/nephew.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. We hope you enjoy sharing in our "Muir Moments".

Utah State Fair
P and I went to the fair with my sister-in-laws and their daughters The kids had a fun time riding all the rides and eating fair food. I couldn't believe how adventerous the girls were, they weren't scared of any of the rides.
N/n #5 & 6 rode on the firetruck that went around in this huge circle, but I couldn't believe how high it was and they weren't scared once!

#6 sliding down the big slide.
Cousins riding the helicopters.
#5 & 6 on the rollercoaster.
P and me on the choo-choo train.
Preston wanted to hold #5's hand all night.

The Joys of Motherhood. . .
Isn't being a mother the funnest job ever!?! These are some great pictures of P, doing what P does best. . .keeping his mom on her toes.
I told P that we were going swimming so while I was getting everything together, P ran out to the car, stripped off his diaper and was climbing up into his car seat.
Oh the places we'll go. Love and I walked into P's room to find that he had pulled everything off of his changing table and had crawled onto one of the shelves. He thought that we couldn't see him and that he had found a pretty cool hiding place.
As many of you know, P loves dogs, and I don't mean loves like he sees one and goes up and pets it, I mean he goes over to our neighbors house, rings their doorbells in hopes of getting a glimpse at their dogs. Well Love had this stuffed dog as one of the prizes for Gasoline Alley and P fell in love with him. He has to bring this dog everywhere we go (or everywhere that mom will allow him to bring it) and if we have to leave it home, as soon as we walk through the door he calls out for his doggy.

Payson Onion Days
Every labor day we go down to Payson (where my sister lives) and celebrate their town's heritage. This year we had good intentions as always and started out at the parade. As soon as the first floats started to come, it started to rain and I mean rain!! It was a complete downpour, we ended up sloshing back to our cars and ditching the onion days for a movie instead.
Grandma (my mom) trying to keep the babies entertained before the parade starts.
The parade has begun and everyone wants to get under grandma and grandpa's umbrella's.
Happy Birthday
Each month, my family gets together for a family dinner. We each take turns hosting the family at our house and everyone is in charge of bringing a specific dish for the family to feast on. During that dinner we celebrate the birthdays for the month. September is the busiest month in our family for birthdays so since n/n #1 was at the beginning we decided to celebrate his at the August family dinner. #1 is turning 12 and is being ordained as a deacon at church. We are so proud of him!
The birthday boy! Doesn't he look excited!

Look out Picasso!
I am always looking for fun and easy craft projects that will entertain P while not costing a ton of money. One day while we were at wal-mart we found these suncatchers that P just became infatuated with, so I got two for him to paint. He had the best time!! Needless to say it kept his attention for an entire 20 minutes which in P's world is like hours and hours plus it allows mom to get something done quickly! We kept the monkey for us to enjoy and gave the flowers to GG who is recovering from cancer. It completely made her day which always makes us happy!!

Cherry Hill
Love won tickets to Cherry Hill Waterpark again this year, so we decided to take our niece and nephews for one last hurrah before school started. We had so much fun that day going down the waterslides, hanging out in the lazy river and even playing with P in the kiddie pool which was a huge pirate ship!

#1 playing tag in the lazy river.

#3 floating down the lazy river.

#2 packing up her things to head home.

#4 relaxing in the lazy river.

Day Trip to Ogden
![]() |

Steve and I decided that it would be fun to take day trips to some sites around Utah, so today we went up to Ogden. We went to the Hill Air Force Aerospace Museum. P had so much fun. They had probably close to 60 planes on the property that we enjoyed seeing what they were used for.
Fun at the Park
First off, let me apologize for the quality of this video, it was done by cell phone, but I thought it was too cute not to put on our blog, so here's the story behind it. For Christmas this past year, my parents gave us a gift certificate for a night at the Anniversary Inn and free babysitting. While P was with them, they took him to the park and he was having so much fun going down the slide. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa! We love you!

And the Oscar goes to. . .

P has an obsession for sunglasses, so I bought him these little kids one a couple of weeks ago and he hasn't put them down since. The other day while we were in Walmart, he put them on and didn't take them off the entire time we were shopping. It was as if he was a movie star and didn't want to be recognized.
We're Engaged

My baby brother finally proposed to his girlfriend. We are so excited! He has had the ring for a couple of months and we have been waiting for him to propose for forever; Rachael, my sister, and I almost did it for him if he hadn't done it soon. We love Gina so much! She is such a great addition to our family and she loves Dan which is more than any sister could ask for her baby brother. They are getting married at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on December 5th. We are so excited for you Dan and Gina! We love you both so much!

Livin La Vida Loca
Now that I have a spare second I thought I would update our blog. I know I haven't been as faithful as I promised to keep it updated, but keep reading and maybe you can find it in your hearts to forgive me. So much as been going on in the Muir Family I feel like we are living La Vida Loca, seriously. I wake up and that song just keeps playing in my head over and over and over again telling me this is my life! The first thing that i wanted to update you on was Dan and Sara's visit. Dan is Steve's younger brother and he and his wife have been living in San Diego for the past 4 years and we have hardly got to see them at all. They finally got their arcade down there sold and came up for a 10 day visit which was not nearly long enough if you ask me. While they were here we got together several times and went bowling, hung out, played games, and went to Lagoon. We had so much fun with them and hope that they will make up their minds to move out here permanently!! The last big piece of news that we have to share is that I am quitting my job! I put in my two weeks notice and feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Love jokes and says that we are accepting donations from our family and friends to help support us. Although the unknown is a little scary right now, we feel so blessed to be able to live off of one income and I can stay home and be with P. As far as Love's job is concerned. We still are unsure where he is going to end up. It sounds like the business in Georgia wasn't all that great, so they are still looking, so we will just keep our fingers crossed that everything will work out for the best. Thanks for your patience with us, and I will try to keep this up to date.

Muir Family Christmas Card
If any of you know our family, you know we are always trying to take pictures of all of the grandkids for Grandma Jeanne to use as the Muir Family Christmas Card, but at last, it seems like we can never get one where every one is looking and smiling. I thought this one was classic. How about this one for the Christmas Card Jeanne?

What's up my Homies. . .
Our Little Helper
We have my brother helping us with a couple of projects around the house and P has deemed himself as Dan's Little Helper. Dan is always so patient with him even though he hides his screws and has to have the same tools as his Uncle Dan and follows him around everywhere doing the same motions that Dan does. He loves to help out!

Our One Year Anniversary
For family night tonight, we decided to go back to the Salt Lake Temple and celebrate having P sealed to us for a year now. We talked about the events of that special day and the happy memories we have from it. Love and I feel so blessed to have P in our lives! Even if he doesn't look very happy to be with us. . .
